News on Central Lewisham

On 19th November, we are launching the Lewisham Living Room!

This will be a series of pop-up events in Lewisham Shopping Centre where you can come and tell us about your aspirations for Lewisham and what a changing town centre means for you and the local community.

Inspired by the past, driven by the future

Today’s vibrant and diverse town centre in Lewisham is a legacy of the area’s rich history, but we would love to hear your personal stories about the past, and how this can help shape the future. At Landsec, we are developing plans to shape a new centre for Lewisham. The plans will be firmly rooted in Lewisham’s people and culture. Do you have a story to tell about Lewisham? Come and tell us about your lived experiences and memories of Lewisham, as well as your aspirations for the future.

We will also be joined by researchers from Goldsmiths, University of London who are gathering local history as part of a new research project about the Lewisham town centre launching later this year.
